Isaac Botbol is an Organizational Development Consultant specializing in Leadership and Communication Skills in the workplace. Since 1989, he has worked nationally and internationally with a wide variety of organizations such as: AT&T, The Quaker Oats Company, The Texas Workforce Commission, Sara Lee and many others. He designs and delivers workshops in both English and in Spanish in the U.S., Mexico and Latin America.
As well as providing numerous workshops at all levels of the organization, Mr. Botbol is dedicated to the improvement of the special communication needs of non-English speaking Hispanics in the workplace.
He is the author of "Survival English for Hispanics" a self-paced learning manual which teaches the specific English conversations that deal with: workplace dialogue, opening a bank account, medical concerns and a host of other issues that are encountered on a daily basis.
Mr. Botbol also works closely with the Health Care Industry. As a result of the enormous language barriers between the English speaking Health Care providers and the non-English speaking Hispanic patient, Mr. Botbol has written a series of books under the titles: “Medical Spanish for Health Care Providers”. He has trained doctors, emergency, and administrative hospital staff to communicate effectively in Spanish using the specialized healthcare vocabulary.
He has taught this course in medical centers such as: Kaiser Permanente in Dallas, John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, and Baylor Hospital in Waxahachie, Texas.
Medical Spanish for Healthcare Providers is now a learning course adopted by Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. It is offered as an elective distance learning course.
From 1989 to 1991, Mr. Botbol was an English/Cultural Immersion Instructor for Russian immigrants from the former Soviet Union during the U.S. Refugee Resettlement Program.
