Hispanics in the workplace have the highest work injury and fatality rate than any other work group in US industry. The overwhelming reason is attributed to communication. The Hispanic employee may not have enough English comprehension or speaking skills to adequately understand the safety issues and concerns of the organization.

The purpose of this workshop is to teach the Hispanic employee the importance of adopting a "Safety Mindset". The participant will learn the essentials of Safety in the Workplace in clear and simple Spanish. We will examine the Safety Procedures, incident reporting, issues and requirements. The instruction will be communicated in the Spanish the Hispanic employee understands. In addition, there will be simulation exercises and sample cases. The workshop will also teach the Hispanic employee the key English words and sentences that relate to the specific Safety Dialogue and Safety language.
